Compensation/Benefits:

$45/training tour (up to 4) PAID TRAINING
$55/per tour (Leading or Co-leading)
+Tips (Not guaranteed, though can range from $20-$150/tour)

Description:

*Coffee tours include stops by alley art/murals and the history of the specific area and San Diego.

*Coffee Tour Guides will lead guests on 2-3hour coffee tasting experience in a variety of places in San Diego County. (Currently hiring for North Park)

Expectations:

-Provide legendary tour experience for all guests.

-Provide in-depth coffee knowledge. Coffee history, journey from bean-to-cup, describe the coffee samples, the harvesting, processing, roasting and preparing coffee processes and the variety of things that effects coffee’s flavor.

-Describe mural art including features of artwork and history.

-Provide North Park Community knowledge including history-present, and what North Park is known for now/what types of businesses can be found

-Provide San Diego knowledge including history-present

-Provide recommendations/suggestions for the NP and San Diego.

-Use safety protocols to ensure guest safety during tour (keep group together, crossing the street, keep guests out of coffee entrances and sidewalk paths).

-Keep tour on time

-Successfully answer guest inquiries

*PAID training!

Best fit for:

-Coffee industry experience preferred.

-Experience talking in front of groups (2-15)

-Availability Th/Fri 10am-3pm, Sat/Sun 8am-2pm

(Tour times vary by week and usually one tour per day)

-Reliable transporatation

-Outgoing, Welcoming, accommodating, friendly, reliable
